Where do I begin with this one??
I stopped in to tour the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Arts & Science prior to the wedding so I could scope out some really good locations for pictures, check out the lighting, and basically plan out the day from a photographic standpoint. Sometimes when I do this, I have a vision! And this happened during my tour… could I put the couple there? Would it photograph the amazing way I was picturing it in my head? The logistics of it were complicated… they would have to be standing on chairs… there would have to be a backlight… but I was determined to make it work. Sometimes when I get ideas like this they turn out to be TOTAL failures. And some days, like the day of Michelle and Michael’s wedding, the stars align and everything is PERFECT!!! My vision became a reality. Take a look!
But that wasn’t the only success of the day… every where I looked there were inspirations. Art work everywhere, a beautiful cascading staircase, our couple that was SO in love… EVERYTHING was perfect and that inspiration lead to what I believe may be one of our best events yet! Michelle and Michael were amazing, GREAT sports (see “standing on chairs” lol) and FUN. There was laughter, and tears. There was the shoe game, there were cupcakes, and sparklers and NIGHT PORTRAITS! It was all of my favorite wedding moments wrapped up into one beautiful day that I was SO happy we got to be a part of!
Note: You may notice multiple “cotton” references throughout this particular wedding…. that’s because the couple is now the new Mr & Mrs COTTON!!!! From all of us at Jennifer Juniper Photography, we wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
