Where do I begin with Rachel and Sean? About 9 months ago I wandered into a physical therapist office with a shoulder injury that I thought could possibly end my career. All I knew was I was in pain, I couldn’t move my arm, and getting through weddings was getting harder and harder. I suppose it’s similar to going to see your hair dresser, or perhaps even a therapist. While Rachel worked on getting me back in working order, we chatted, and I got to hear ALL about her upcoming wedding to this amazing guy. Being in the wedding industry, I tried to give some advice here and there, in between wrenching my arm back and forth in different directions with varying amounts of pressure and, discomfort, to put it lightly. I heard about Sean, and remember her saying she “adored” him, which is a word I don’t often hear when my clients describe their fiance’s, and I thought it carried with it, in addition to the obvious love and affection, a sense of respect and admiration that was refreshing and endearing.
Fast forward a few months, and I saw engagement pictures, and heard about plans for the bridal shower, and the plan for the guys to wear kilts. I heard about venue visits, food tastings, and when THE gown was discovered. So it only seemed natural when she asked for my pricing info on photography, and I was super psyched to be able to be a part of the big day that I had been hearing so much about.
And it was TOTALLY PERFECT! LPGA was the most amazingly beautiful backdrop for our lovebirds to tie the knot. Surrounded by friends and family, they exchanged vows next to a lake and framed with palm trees. The weather was great, and every detail from the tartan bow for her shoes, to Deadpool sneaking out from the bottom tier of their cake added to the story of their love.
Thank you for everything you did for me, and I hope I was able to give you memories to last a lifetime. It was truly a pleasure not only documenting your big day, but getting to know you, and I hope that I can call you my friend. From all of us at Jennifer Juniper Photography, we wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
