I received a notification from Anne regarding her wedding about a week before the big day. I was so happy I had the date available and would be able to document their big day! And then I found out their “big” day was going to be a small and intimate affair. A courthouse wedding with just immediate friends and family. I do love sweet and small weddings, as I can really focus on those attending and of course our lovely couple!
We were able to snap a few pictures in their beautiful back yard, along a fence covered in little yellow flowers, and at a big oak tree on the front of the property. Being able to shoot at people’s homes has a very special meaning for us, since these are places that have been a part of our client’s lives. It’s only fitting that they should be a part of this momentous occasion in their lives.
After getting ready at the house, we went to the courthouse in a little ceremony, and were able to do portraits outside. Look at the smile on our bride…. this little event was full of love, and joy, and all the things that make a wedding; no matter WHAT the size; an occasion to remember for a lifetime. Thank you so much for letting us be a part of the big day! We wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
