We had so much fun with Luming and Handi for their Florida elopement wedding. Elopements are great because they’re small and intimate, and as a Florida wedding photographer, I get a lot. So we are able to really focus on getting some great portraits. The timeline is relaxed, and I feel like things are calmer overall.
First we ran into the fathers of the bride and groom, and they gave us little tubs of Chinese tea, Xiao Guan Cha. That is SO sweet! Also, I should mention that after the shoot I walked away with the biggest salad I’ve ever seen. It’s always so considerate when my clients offer me food. However as a vegetarian I often have to turn it down. So when I couldn’t grab a sandwich from their catered snacks, they offered me a whole salad! Oh, and in the middle of the ceremony, they took a moment to thank the vendors that were involved. They paused in the ceremony to thank US! I LOVE these guys.
But let’s be honest, it wasn’t the tea or the ginormous salad that made Handi & Luming’s wedding so endearing. Rather, it was the love that was so evident. Their formal portrait session included tons of locations. With no timeline, we were able to really wander the beautiful property. And I know how tedious that can be for newlyweds. Look here, smile, walk around. But these guys were SO patient with us. They were troopers! And it made their Florida elopement wedding so much more amazing.
Take a look and I’m sure you’ll agree! Congratulations to Luming & Handi. We wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
