We had the pleasure of working with Ashley and Connor in their rustic wedding in Deland Florida. Their day took place at the Highland Park Fish Camp. I had never been there before, so I got there super early to scope it out. We wandered around for a bit and came to the Hammock, where the actual wedding was taking place. All I can say is WOW. Nestled in a beautiful woodsy area on the edge of the property was the perfect area for an outdoor rustic wedding.
Before actually shooting at the Hammock, we met our couple at their cabins. I got to work with Ashley’s STUNNING opal ring, gown, bouquet, and boots. My associate worked in the next cabin over with the guys. These cute cabins were the perfect prep location for our couple and their wedding party.
The ceremony location was simply stunning. As a Daytona Beach wedding photographer, I see a lot of beautiful unique venues. However this was like nothing I’ve seen in this area. Picturesque, with a woodsy backdrop, and a stone aisle flanked by wooden benches. Trees created a whimsical canopy for this rustic wedding in Deland Florida. Ashley and Connor chose a hand fasting ceremony in addition to their rings and vows. Everything was perfect.
After portraits were taken, they lit the bonfire, and danced in a grassy open area. Guests ate s’mores, and warmed up by the fire. It was one of the coldest days of the year, so perfect for this incredible venue. Finally, glow stick exit concluded the festivities. This one was so unique and different and we had an absolute blast! Congratulations to you both. From all of us at Jennifer Juniper Photography and Juniper Lane Events, we wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
