Where do I begin with Shannon and Melanie? I do a lot of Estate on the Halifax wedding photography. I sometimes feel like it’s my home away from home. There are so many beautiful secret spots. For example, gardens galore! The property has koi ponds, and quaint walkways. And of course the iconic railroad tracks. I never tire of working there.
Then add in a couple like Shannon and Melanie. And this beautiful venue becomes a place so full of love and joy. One thing I’ve learned from all of my Estate on the Halifax wedding photography through the years is it’s the PEOPLE that make it so special. And it’s their story that I try and share in my work. It’s their love that really make the pictures special. Each wedding is so unique. And that’s what I love most about my job.
It was a blast working with these beautiful ladies. We provided photography, and coordination. And Shannon booked photo booth separately as a surprise for her lovely fiance. I think it’s a GREAT idea, however I may be biased. After all, pictures last forever!
The Big Day
After some initial wedding prep, we joined the couple at the property’s gazebo for a beautiful ceremony. Our couple exchanged vows and were married surrounded by friends and family.! We got to tour the property during the newlywed session, and snapped some fun wedding party group shots. Then it was off to the reception to celebrate the nuptuals.
A night session was a fun little mini session, with a friend’s Impala. I do LOVE props. Bouquets, fancy cars… I LOVE that kinda stuff! So this was super fun for me.
