Wylee and Marc reached out to us to photograph their Florida alligator wedding. There are a lot of people that wouldn’t feel comfortable working with snakes and alligators. However I love any opportunity to document something new and exciting. Every wedding I do is unique. With or without giant 8 ft alligators named “Crusher”. That’s what I love the most about my job. But this one truly was a little different.
Our couple chose to have their wedding at the Wild Florida Airboats and Gator Park. Our bride LOVES reptiles. The back of their bridal party robes said “swamp sisters”. From the snake skin boots, to the gator cookie favors, this wedding screamed swamp! And it was a BLAST.
The ceremony was beautiful and elegant. No snakes or gators there. Our couple exchanged vows at the venue’s beautiful tree canopy. They opted for a branding ceremony as part of their ceremony. Then it was time for the reptiles! While we did portraits, guests got to play with a real live boa! Our couple posed with Crusher in the big alligator tank. Then, we worked with Red, a beautiful boa, and Fluffy, a baby gator. These were some of the most unique portraits i’ve done!
Cake cutting, dancing, and a sparkler exit ended the festivities. This one was one for the books! We’re so happy we got to be a part of this once in a lifetime opportunity. From all of us at Jennifer Juniper Photography, we wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
