Wendy and Clayton had a beautiful Ever After Farms Blueberry wedding. We’ve been to this venue many times. However, this time was different. There were masks, the bride’s dress and groom’s suit were SO unique… and of course, there was a gorilla. In all my years as a Florida wedding photographer, this was completely new to me!
Not a real gorilla. But our lovely bride works with primates, so it only made sense that one was incorporated into the ceremony! It was totally unique. These two are not only PERFECT for each other. But additionally, they made this wedding completely their own. We worked with a baby yoda, and a pocket watch. The wedding gown had PURPLE tulle! These two found a way to completely customize their wedding, and we were totally there for it!
First, everyone had to get ready. We documented all the fun little wedding details, from cufflinks to earrings. The groomsmen posed for some dashing portraits and the girls rocked their robe pictures. Wendy and Clayton scheduled a first look pre-ceremony. Surrounded by lush blueberry fields, he turned and saw his bride for the first time. It was truly magical!
After a few pre-ceremony portraits, it was officially ceremony time. Surrounded by close friends and family, and of course a gorilla, Wendy and Clayton exchanged vows and became husband and wife.
Everyone celebrated with a fun cocktail hour, and of course, dinner and dancing. We snuck our newlyweds out for a gorgeous sunset portrait session. A dramatic sparkler exit concluded the festivities.
