Christina and Enayat planed a truly incredible Tuscany destination wedding. And they brought US!! I don’t even know where to start with this one. The entire trip was a dream. We at SO much food. And we saw SO many things. And we got to photograph an amazing couple with one of the most picturesque backdrops I’ve ever worked in. But, I’m getting ahead of myself.
Welcome Night
First, it was welcome night. Technically, first was my associate Liz and I galavanting around Italy a week before the wedding for the fun of it. We came, we ate… and we ate some more! And we saw a bunch of cool stuff too. However, the first day at the wedding venue was welcome night. Villa Catignano was more incredible than I even imagined. We did a brief engagement type session with our bride and groom. And then everyone met in the villa’s main room for a food and drink spread unlike anything I have ever seen before.
Wedding Day
Next, was the big day. The reason everyone flew across the ocean to witness Christina & Enayat’s celebration of love. Other than a few scary moments where we thought the ceremony might have to move inside due to weather, everything went off without a hitch. Surrounded by close friends and family, our bride and groom became husband and wife!
Our newlyweds celebrated with a magnificent plated meal, and of course, dancing!
Farewell Pizza Party
After days of eating, drinking, and celebrating… including a golf outing, and winery tour (of which I was able to partake!!) it was time for the farewell pizza party. Everyone looks a little more ragged, but so very happy. I have to say, the people at this event were just incredible. From amazing vendors that were so great to work with, to a loving couple that planned everything out so perfectly… and to the friends and family that made our job so easy. It was amazing to be a part of this one… (Thank you Kate!) Shout out to Liz for being my assistant/second shooter on this amazing adventure. I couldn’t have done it without you.
