As a Florida wedding photographer based in Daytona, we do a lot of spring weddings. However, Adriana & Maykel’s wedding was SO special! We LOVE working at the Estate on the Halifax. This picturesque venue is truly the perfect newlywed portrait backdrop. Also, Adriana & Maykel were a dream to work with! We had the best time!
First, everyone got ready. The guys prepped at the venue’s train car. Meanwhile, the girls finished up hair and makeup at Agatha’s Guest House. We scheduled an emotional first look with the bride and her father, and a first TOUCH with the bride and groom. We love all of these super emotional and beautiful pre-ceremony moments!
Finally, it was ceremony time! Our lovebirds chose to exchange vows at the venue’s quaint chapel. Surrounded by friends and family, Adriana and Maykel exchanged vows and rings, and became husband and wife.
We documented family portraits up at the altar. Next, we took our newlyweds on a little tour around the property for some beautiful and dramatic newlywed pictures! The railroad tracks, foliage, and covered bridge are just a few of our favorite portrait stops! We never get tired of working at this beautiful location.
Our couple celebrated with dinner and dancing in the venue’s tavern. Finally, a dramatic sparkler exit concluded the festivities.
