April & Josh’s wedding at The Estate on the Halifax was the perfect blend of romance, personality, and joyful celebration. From the start, their day felt intentional, emotional, and full of sweet moments.

First, the guys toasted the occasion with shots at the train car. At the same time, the girls gathered for a celebratory pre-ceremony drink, adding to the excitement building throughout the morning. Next, April & Josh shared a romantic first touch before the ceremony. This quiet and meaningful moment grounded them and allowed them to connect before everything began.
Soon after, it was ceremony time. Nestled beside Agatha’s Guest House at the river gate, they exchanged vows overlooking the Halifax River. Tall palm trees framed the space beautifully, creating a peaceful and intimate setting that doesn’t get the love it deserves.
Following the ceremony, we moved into family portraits. Then, the wedding party gathered for another toast. This time, April & Josh joined in together, making the moment even more fun and memorable.
Next, we explored the property for portraits. The vibrant bougainvillea and lush foliage created the perfect backdrop, especially paired with their bold red accents. Additionally, we stepped inside Agatha’s Guest House for more dramatic portraits. The piano, dark blue leather couch, and grand spiral staircase added a rich, moody and dramatic feel to their gallery.
Afterward, everyone met inside the tavern for dinner and dancing. We had the honor of introducing Pearl, our antique audio phone guest book, which guests absolutely loved. A chaotic but fun table photo game ensured the couple got photos with every guest.
As the evening continued, we snuck out for a few quick night portraits before wrapping up with a dramatic sparkler exit. Without a doubt, April & Josh’s wedding at the Estate on the Halifax was heartfelt, vibrant, and completely unforgettable.
