Angelina and Mac chose to have a wedding at the Capen House, and this was our very first event at this stunning venue. The property sits along the lake, framed by a wide grassy lawn and the historic home behind it. Everywhere we turned, we found another gorgeous backdrop.
Angelina spent her prep time in the lux bridal suite. There, she slipped into her gown, and soaked in every moment. Meanwhile, Mac arrived dressed and ready. We stepped out onto the back porch for his portraits, and he brought style, confidence, and the perfect amount of charm.
Soon, it was time to say “I do.” Their ceremony felt heartfelt from beginning to end. They blended sand in a unity ceremony and released butterflies as guests looked on with tears and smiles, and then released some of their own! Then, in true romantic fashion, they ended their walk back up the aisle with a dramatic dip that had everyone cheering.
Afterward, we rushed inside for emotional first dances. The room buzzed with love and happy tears. Then our newlyweds joined their guests for a lively cocktail hour filled with games, bubbles, a photo booth, and even a flower bar. It suited them perfectly—fun, colorful, and full of personality.
During dinner, we whisked Angelina and Mac away for romantic portraits along the water & garden areas. The light softened and the twinkle lights began to glow. And they finally had a moment to breathe and just be together. Soon after, dueling pianos kicked off the party, and the dance floor came alive.
We had so much fun celebrating with these two for their wedding at the Capen House. What an unforgettable day for an unforgettable couple.
