Brandi & Vann’s gazebo wedding at the Estate on the Halifax was the perfect blend of elegance and laid-back charm. The day began like many weddings at this beautiful venue, with the girls getting ready at Agatha’s Guest House while the guys prepared at the iconic train car. As always, we spent the first hours documenting all the thoughtful little details that made the day unique. Their blush pink color palette mixed with delicate baby’s breath created such a classy and timeless vibe. However, the addition of cowboy boots added personality and a relaxed touch that fit the couple perfectly.
Once everyone was ready, it was time for the ceremony. Brandi & Vann chose the venue’s romantic gazebo location, and honestly, it may be one of our favorite ceremony spots on the entire property. Surrounded by lush greenery and the peaceful water nearby, the setting felt incredibly intimate. During the ceremony, the couple shared a beautiful sand ceremony before officially becoming husband and wife.
Afterward, we moved right into family portraits before exploring the property for newlywed portraits. The Estate on the Halifax always provides endless beautiful backdrops, and this wedding was no exception. We utilized the gazebo area, the picturesque pond with its covered bridge, and of course, the venue’s lush gardens for romantic portraits of the newlyweds.
Next, everyone gathered inside the tavern for dinner and dancing. The evening was filled with celebration, laughter, and so much joy from friends and family. Before ending coverage, we snuck away one final time for another newlywed session near the honeysuckle along the river. The soft evening light paired with the peaceful waterfront made for the perfect ending to an absolutely beautiful wedding day.
