Some wedding days feel like they belong in a storybook, and Danilyn & Austin’s Castle Otttis wedding was exactly that.
Castle Otttis is one of St. Augustine’s best-kept secrets. Nestled near the beach, this enchanting stone castle is unlike any other venue in Florida. Its winding staircases and old-world charm make it one of my favorite hidden gems to photograph. Danilyn got ready inside the castle with her bridesmaids, while Austin arrived excited and ready for the day ahead.
Soon, the ceremony began. Danilyn descended the castle’s beautiful spiral staircase to meet Austin at the altar. Surrounded by timeless architecture and the people they love most, they exchanged vows and became husband and wife.
After a joyful bubble exit, guests headed to the reception while I stole the newlyweds away for one of my favorite parts of the day. We explored the castle’s stone corridors, windows, and even the rooftop for some truly magical portraits. Every corner of Castle Otttis creates a stunning backdrop, and these two looked right at home in their fairytale setting.
We later joined everyone at the nearby boat club, where the celebration continued along the riverside. Their first dance, heartfelt parent dances, and cake cutting wrapped up an unforgettable wedding day.
