Megan and Joel’s wedding was a great example of why I love being a Port Orange wedding photographer. Nothing compares to the beautiful trees, koi pond, and Spanish Moss. Then add in an incredible couple and a fun wedding party. Truly nothing compares!
There were so many fun details that made this wedding special. Joel had socks with Megan’s face on it! And special custom cufflinks. Central Florida wedding photography is my sepcialty. But the Estate on the Halifax is truly one of my favorites!
Our couple chose to exchange vows in a beautiful chapel ceremony. I love this chapel for so many reasons. First, it’s beautiful and quaint. Also the stained glass window at the altar is a beautiful backdrop to any ceremony. And we have a balcony to shoot from for a unique birds eye view!
For portraits, we took a tour of the property, and all that the Estate has to offer. From the covered bridge, to the train tracks, we made it happen. And megan and Joel were such troopers! They were with us every step of the way. We were even able to schedule in a private first look of the reception! Our couple was overjoyed to see how all the hard work of decor and all the details turned out. The DJs custom gobo was such a beautiful, dramatic, and unique touch to the dance floor! We were totally in love!
With the vows exchanges, formals taken, and the room ready, it was party time. Our couple danced, toasted, and had a blast with friends and family. Cake and a sparkler exit officially ended this Port Orange wedding, and our couple walked off together as husband and wife.
Check out our last wedding at the lovely Estate on the Halifax!
