Jenn & Josh had a beautiful Fall Estate on the Halifax wedding. This is our favorite venue year round. However, it’s simply gorgous in the fall! The temperatures drop just a little, and this event in particular was pure magic! There were little hints of Beauty & the Beast, star wars, and bumble bees… since the couple met on bumble! It was obvious that Jenn & Josh were truly meant to beeeee.
First, everyone prepped for the big day. The girls got ready in Agatha’s guest house. Meanwhile, the guys got ready at the blue train car. Once all the details were in place, we set up our couple for a first look. This is a private moment when our groom turns around and sees his bride for the first time, BEFORE the ceremony! It’s truly special, and we love capturing these emotional expressions!
With portraits and our first look completed, it was ceremony time. Our bride and groom exchanged vows in the venue’s quaint chapel. Next, it was portrait time! During cocktail hour, we got different family groupings, wedding party pictures, and of course, the newlywed session! This is our favorite venue for newlywed portraits. The sky truly is the limit with all the secret little corners to shoot in.
After an epic newlywed session, our couple celebrated with dinner and dancing. We cut the cake, and tossed the garter and bouquet. Additionally, we snuck in a few night portraits during the reception! A dramatic sparkler exit concluded the festivities.
