Alexis & Leonard had a beautiful wedding at the Estate on the Halifax. Before the big day, I had only met with these guys virtually, as they live in Germany. So it was truly lovely to meet them and be a part of their beautiful love story!

Before the I-DOs, our couple and their wedding party had to prep! The guys hung out over at the venue’s train car. Meanwhile, the girls got ready at Agatha’s guest house. We documented all the fun little details like rings, invitation, jewelry, etc. Once everyone was dressed, we scheduled a first look with our bride and groom. During a first look, couples see each other privately BEFORE the ceremony! We love these sweet and emotional moments. They allow us to document all the feelings in private. Additionally we find our couples can enjoy their ceremony a little more once they’ve seen each other!
Surrounded by friends and family, under the venue’s beautiful oak tree, Alexis & Leonard exchanged vows and became husband and wife. This location is one of our favorite ceremony spots. After,we even shot the formal family and group portraits under the tree at the altar! It’s the perfect backdrop.
For newlywed portraits, we traveled around the property a little bit. The oleander is STILL blooming, so of course we took advantage of the beautiful pink flowers. We stopped at the koi pond, covered bridge, and gazebo for some stellar newlywed portraits.
With pictures done, our lovebirds celebrated at the venue’s tavern with dinner and dancing. A photo booth by our sister company, Juniper Lane Events, was a huge hit for guests! Finally, a dramatic bubble exit concluded the festivites. From all of us at Jennifer Juniper Photography, we wish you a lifetime of happiness together! Thank you for choosing us to document your wedding at the Estate on the Halifax.
