Mindy and Kyle’s Estate on the Halifax oak tree wedding was full of charm, love, and unforgettable moments.
The guys got ready in the venue’s iconic train car. It added a unique, vintage vibe to the morning. Meanwhile, the girls prepared at Agatha’s Guest House. Before the ceremony, the couple shared a “first touch” on either side of a door. As wedding photographers, we love this sweet and emotional moment. That quiet moment let them connect without seeing each other. A powerful pause before saying “I do.”
The ceremony took place under the Estate’s breathtaking oak tree. Sunlight filtered through the branches as they exchanged vows. Afterward, guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the garden. Drinks, laughter, and golden-hour light made for a relaxed celebration.
We used that time to explore the property for portraits. The Estate’s grounds gave us endless magical backdrops. We had a blast capturing beautiful moments with our newlyweds.
Soon, everyone moved into the Tavern for dinner and dancing. The atmosphere was joyful, warm, and full of energy.
As the sun began to set, we snuck Mindy and Kyle away again. Just the two of them and golden light. Those sunset portraits were quiet, romantic, and the perfect way to wrap up photo coverage.
